CAPITOL CITY TRIAL LAWYERS ASSOCIATION (CCTLA)

Amar Shergill was elected to the Board of the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Associate in 2013 and is the current Vice-President. In 2017, he was awarded the Morton L. Friedman Humanitarian Award for his service to the community. Since the 1950’s, the CCTLA has been representing Sacramento-area trial lawyers by ensuring that that judges, clerks and other administrators are well-educated on issues important to Plaintiff cases. Amar Shergill, along with local judges and civic leaders, has led discussion panels on diversity as it applies to attorneys, judges and clients. The CCTLA and Shergill Law Firm support a number of charitable causes through fundraising events.
